The Carrot Friday Nite Live presents the Zach Willier

Zach Willier is an 18 year old indigenous singer, songwriter and fiddler who comes from Sucker Creek First Nation but is currently based out of Edmonton where he is performing at many different events around the city and surrounding area. In April 2022 he was asked by the Royal Canadian National Geographic Society to represent Alberta at the launch for the decade of indigenous languages in Ottawa. In March 2023 he released his first album titled “The New Sound Of Zach Willier” (available on all streaming platforms), which includes nine of his original songs, mixing the old country sound with his unique voice. In January 2024 Zach will be moving to attend East Tennessee State University in Johnson City Tennessee, studying Bluegrass, Old Time, and Country music in the hope for a career as a full time musician.
