Coffee with Cops

The Carrot Community Arts Coffeehouse is happy to host our Edmonton Police Service. Connect with local residents and our Edmonton Police Service beat officers to chat about your neighbourhood and any concerns. This is a great meet-up whether you are a long-time resident or new to the neighbourhood.

The "Coffee with Cops" initiative, now in its 16th year, has become a cornerstone program for building bridges between law enforcement and community members. This enduring project involves monthly gatherings where citizens and business owners can engage in direct, informal conversations with their local police officers. Over the years, these meetings have proven instrumental in problem-solving, intelligence sharing, and fostering strong connections through networking. By consistently bringing together beat officers, bylaw enforcement, and community stakeholders in a friendly, open environment, "Coffee with Cops" has facilitated numerous collaborative efforts aimed at enhancing public safety and community well-being, demonstrating a long-standing commitment to partnership and mutual respect.
